Best Food & Drinks in Clapham

Enjoy cheers-worthy cocktails with the girls, a well-poured pint, or a bottle of cork-poppingly good wine in our gorgeous pub.

The smell of Head Chef Hamoun’s cooking (think waffle-tastic brunch dishes and hefty Ginger Pig steaks) will have you running in from the common. The warm welcome (plus serious summer vibes) you find inside mean you always linger longer.

Piled-high-plates of meat-y deliciousness, family lunches, a riot of summer-y heritage veggies, and that all-important Sunday roast. Dining at The Windmill is not something you’ll forget in a hurry.

Two Courses for £18

Our February set menu is a celebration of mid-winter seasonality, showcasing some of our favourite winter produce from across the UK. With two courses for £18 or three courses for £22 (go on… treat yourself to a pud) you shouldn’t need further excuse to get yourself to the pub.

Available Monday to Friday from 3rd – 28th February.

Sunday Roast

Our roasts are more than a little bit special. Whether you’re vegan for the animals, or a hot-blooded meat eater, our food is a sure-fire crowd pleaser.

Those keep-em-coming-sides (think Cauli cheese, pigs in blankets and chewy stuffing) could be a meal in their own right. Pass the gravy. Thanks.

Breakfast of Champions

Head chef Hamoun is cooking up a storm so why not indulge in an ‘oh, go on then’ kind of breakfast, such as our Buttermilk fried chicken and waffles served with treacle bacon and unctuous hot honey? You don’t have to be a hotel guest to walk in, so anyone can enjoy a spot of brekkie in our glorious pub garden.

Sociable Sharing Steaks

Looking for something special to sink your teeth into?

Sharing steaks (from our local butcher, Ginger Pig) hits the spot. With different cuts – including short-rib beef, sirloin, and the mighty Tomahawk – it’s a carnivorous delight to snaffle with a friend.

You’d best be quick – when they’re gone, they’re gone.

Fancy a Cocktail?

Whether you favour a classic (think whisky Old Fashioned) or love to go wild (Twisted Bellini, perhaps) we have something to give you that oh-go-on-then cocktail feeling.

Bartender’s tip: try our Lemon Meringue Martini as an after dinner treat.

Six Nations

We are super excited to be getting underway with the 2025 Six Nations.

We are walk-ins only for groups under 20 guests, but for any groups above (max 30 guests), our ‘Max Shack’ in our garden is available for bookings.

So, rally the squad and why not pre-order a bucket of beers?
