If it was up to us, you’d be moving in, because we love it here. But we understand that you may be visiting Clapham for many different reasons. Calling in for a work trip? A one or two night stay usually does the job.

Sight-seeing and staying for longer? Luckily for you (and us) Central London is a hop, skip, and a jump away (or a short tube ride).

We’re locals so be sure to ask us for personal recommendations, we’ll give you all the hints and tips to make sure Clapham props the top of your city break hitlist, time and time again.

There’s those ‘feel like a local’ must-do’s, like shopping on Abbeville Road. And then there’s those not-to-miss lesser-known things like the Hayman’s Gin Distillery Tour. And we love to share personal recommendations, so feel free to ask us when you’re here or check out our friends, Best of Clapham, who round up the current happenings and best spots to visit.

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our pub to relax, have a bite to eat, a little tipple (or the perfect opportunity to say hello to cuter-than-cute pub dog, Monty).

Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back.

Check-out is by 11am.

Brekkie is served from 7am on weekdays, and 8am on weekends (we all deserve a little lie-in). If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

We absolutely do! A few of our Boutique, Boutique Twin, and Bigger Boutique rooms have space for cots (for little ones) and space for sofa beds (for bigger little ones).

Better yet, some Boutique rooms can adjoin to make super-spacious family rooms (you’ll need to add a request to your booking or give us a call for these).

Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 are £15 per night.

Pub dog, Monty, wouldn’t have it any other way. Our Boutique and Boutique Twin rooms are dog-friendly, which means there’s space for a doggy bed (or two).

Just add your dog to your booking (up to two pups can stay with you for £20 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a doggy hamper full of tasty tail-wagging treats, a doggy bed or blanket and bowl.

We’ve got some on-site parking (just know that it’s quite small and operates first-come, first-parked basis). If it’s full, there’s on-street parking nearby, too.

Journeying in by train? Your closest station is Clapham Junction, a 30-minute stroll across the common.

Travelling by Tube? Within walking distance, there’s Clapham South and Clapham Common (Clapham South is better if travelling with a bag or two).

Flying in (or out)? London Heathrow is the closest airport, followed by London Gatwick and London City. And given our distance from the train and tube stations, you’ll get to us in no time.

We understand that plans sometimes change, so we try to make our booking policies super flexible. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.
